FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH Scores With 'Bad Company'

The Pulse of Radio reports that FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH needed a song to fill out their live set back when they were headlining with just one album, so the band decided to cover the BAD COMPANY classic "Bad Company". But the tune became so popular with fans that the group finally decided to record it for its sophomore effort, "War Is The Answer". Guitarist Zoltan Bathory told The Pulse of Radio how they approached remaking the song. "It's difficult to make a cover tune that's somehow your own, but still keeps the tradition of the original," he said. "That song, 'Bad Company', you know, is a pretty solid singer so it's like, you know, we had to do something that was DEATH PUNCH but at the same time, you know, stay true to its, you know, original. And, you know, I think we pulled it off pretty good."

"Bad Company" is currently a Top 10 hit on the rock radio charts.

The video for "Bad Company" was filmed during the band's recent overseas trip to perform for U.S. troops stationed in Iraq, and is described as "a salute to the brave men and women who dedicate their lives to protecting our freedom."

FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH will participate this summer in the Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival, beginning on July 10 in Devore, California.
